Purple

Whatever will be, will be.
This flower will never be this shade of purple again.
That tree will never have these many leaves again.
Your heart will never feel the same way twice.
The butterflies won't flutter the same again.
You could try all you want to live like the picture you have in your head, but nothing really is in your control.
Today the cherry blossom tree waits with its last flower. And as it falls to the ground, a tear rolls down my cheek.
Sometimes loving something isn't enough to make it stay forever.
Sometimes loving something isn't enough to bring it back to life.
The future is not ours to see and nothing lasts forever, no matter how beautiful.
But there's a Magnolia tree slowly spreading its roots.
Everyday a new leaf, a new branch.
In a while you'll see flowers again.
They won't be the same, but they'll be just as beautiful.
Tears will fall again, but this time you'll be smiling.
